Barcelona reignite Raphinha pursuit?
Barcelona have resurrected their interest in Leeds United attacker Raphinha, with negotiations scheduled imminently.
The Brazilian has contributed 10 goals and three assists in 31 Premier League outings, making the 25-year-old the club’s top goalscorer.
Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Adama Traore has been on loan at Camp Nou since January, but the Blaugrana are believed to not want to make that temporary move permanent this summer.
The Telegraph reports that the Catalan giants would likely make a £25m bid for Raphinha, and with a busy summer looking likely in Spain, transfer business will aim to be completed as early as possible.
Therefore, discussions between Barca and Raphinha’s representatives are due to take place in the coming weeks, despite Leeds United have a lot to play for in the Premier League to avoid relegation.
Raphinha joined the Whites in 2020 for £17m, and since then he has scored 16 goals and registered 12 assists in 63 appearances for the club.
