Real Madrid attacker Isco has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Barcelona.
Isco’s contract at the Bernabeu is due to expire at the end of June, and it remains unlikely that he will be putting a pen to a paper on a fresh deal with the La Liga leaders.
Sevilla are said to be in pole position for the 29-year-old winger, who has amassed twice in 14 appearances for Los Blancos during the 2021-22 campaign.
However, according to soymadrista via Fichajes, the Blaugrana are also keeping a close eye on Isco’s developments and could make a move to sign him on a free transfer ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
The Spaniard racked up 350 appearances for Real Madrid since joining the club from Malaga in 2013, netting 53 goals and providing 56 assists in the process.
Isco has won two La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and four Champions League silverware during his time in the Spanish capital.
