West Ham United keeping tabs on Burnley captain Ben Mee?

West Ham United have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Burnley defender Ben Mee in the January transfer window.

The 32-year-old will see his contract at Turf Moor expire next summer and his future with the Clarets remains uncertain.

According to Claret & Hugh, West Ham manager David Moyes is lining up a potential move to acquire the services of Mee, who could be available for a cut-price fee at the start of 2022.

The Hammers are set to be active in the winter market and are looking to strengthen their defensive options for the rest of the season.

Mee has made 362 appearances across all competitions for Burnley.
