Tottenham Hotspur keeping tabs on Thiago Silva?
Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva is reportedly the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho.
The Brazil international is set to leave Parc des Princes on a free transfer at the end of this month, leaving a bunch of clubs supposedly eyeing up the centre-back as an ideal free signing during the summer transfer window.
A number of Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United and West Ham United are all said to be monitoring the situation ahead of a possible bid during the summer.
The 35-year-old defender has made 21 appearances for the Parisians before the season was suspended amid the coronavirus pandemic.
According to The Sun, Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is determined to bring the Brazilian to north London as an ideal replacement for Jan Vertonghen – who is ready to move away from the London outfit this summer after his contract expires in a few weeks time.
Silva racked up 310 appearances for the French champions since his move from AC Milan in 2012.
