Olivier Giroud on Barcelona radar?
Barcelona have emerged as rumoured suitors for Chelsea outcast Olivier Giroud, according to Sport.
Having lost Luis Suarez until May with a knee injury, the La Liga champions are keen to sign in a new striker, either on a short or long-term basis.
The report claims, Barcelona may attempt to take advantage of Giroud’s situation at west London outfit in the coming days, while no official bids have been made, the report adds that the Frenchman is high on the Blaugrana’ shortlist.
With just less than six months remaining on his contract, the World Cup winner will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge for the right price.
The 33-year-old experienced striker, who will be out of contract at the end of the season, had been linked with Serie A giants Inter Milan but the move did not happen.
