Man United join Arsenal in race to sign Cengiz Under

Manchester United and Arsenal could reportedly slug it out over the summer for the £27m-rated Roma attacker Cengiz Under, according to Corriere dello Sport via Mail.

The 22-year-old winger is said to have caught the eye of both English clubs after contributing 17 goals and 12 assists in 85 appearances for AS Roma.

The Red Devils and the Gunners are looking to strengthen their attacks ahead of next season, and the aforementioned report claims, Under is being considered due to his affordable price tag.

With the Premier League giants having to adjust their budgets in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, it is suggested that the Turkey international is seen as a very plausible to Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

The Serie A outfit are thought to be prepared to cash when the summer window eventually opens, but only if the Turk’s full valuation is met.
