Liverpool are ready to pounce for the Rennes youngster Eduardo Camavinga by making a £46m bid in the summer transfer window.
The 17-year-old midfielder, who has made 36 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit during the 2019-20 campaign, allegedly sparking a number of interest in his services.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur have all previously been credited with an interest, but according to Sport, the Premier League leaders Liverpool are also in the race for the Frenchman’s signature.
The report adds that Rennes value Camavinga somewhere in the region of £46m, a figure that the Merseyside giants could meet in order to bring him to Anfield.
The teenager has scored one goal and registered two assists in 25 Ligue 1 appearances during the current campaign.
Camavinga will see his contract at Roazhon Park expire at the end of next season.
