Bayern Munich weighing up January deal for Leroy Sane
Bayern Munich have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane in the January transfer window.
The Bavarians were strongly linked with the German international over the summer, but the proposed move fell through when the attacker suffered a bad knee injury in the Community Shield match against Liverpool.
The 24-year-old forward now has just less than 18 months left to run on his contract at the Etihad, and it has been suggested that the defending Premier League champions are still hopeful that he might extend his stay.
However, according to Bild via Mirror, the Bundesliga champions are working behind the scenes in a bid to complete a deal for the German before the January transfer window shuts down.
Sane has managed to score 39 goals and registered 45 assists in 134 appearances for City since arriving from Schalke 04 in 2016.
