Report – Tottenham lead race to sign Danish midfielder

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly taken the lead in the race to sign Nordsjaelland midfielder Andreas Skov Olsen, according to The Sun.

Spurs are at the front of the queue to sign the Denmark Under-21 international, who has been dubbed ‘the next Christian Eriksen’.

The report states that the north Londoners could face competition from Barcelona and Bayern Munich for the 19-year-old’s signature.

Tottenham Hotspur’s league rivals Everton are also interested in the teenager, with a bid in the region of £10m may be required to secure the player’s signature in the summer transfer window.

The Lilywhites have made impressive improvements under Mauricio Pochettino over the past five seasons following four successive top-four finishes.
