Liverpool line up summer swoop for Middlesbrough teenager Bilal Brahimi
Liverpool are closely monitoring the rise of Middlesbrough forward Bilal Brahimi, according to TEAMtalk.
The Reds are interested in a potential deal to sign Brahimi despite the 19-year-old striker has merely made one appearance in the current campaign.
The report adds that the Merseyside giants will face stiff competition from their Premier League rivals Newcastle United for the French teenager’s signature.
The Ligue 1 outfit Rennes are also interested in a swoop to sign the Parisian-born youngster ahead of the summer transfer window.
Middlesbrough signed Brahimi in 2017 after the player represented various Parisian-based youth teams.
Brahimi has made the majority of his appearances in the ongoing season for Middlesbrough’s 2nd string team in the Premier League 2 Division 2.
