Paris Saint-Germain youngster Stanley N’Soki is reportedly the subject of interest from Premier League outfit Newcastle United, according to Sky Sports News.
The Magpies head coach Rafael Benitez suggested that he was growing frustrated regarding the club’s transfer activity, but the club have since completed a deal for Yoshinori Muto from Mainz.
It is reported that The Toon are also in the market for a new left-back and are desperate to lure 19-year-old N’Soki to St James’ Park ahead of next season.
The teenager has only made one substitute appearance in the first team for the French champions, but the defender has featured for the Parisians during pre-season.
The France Under-20 international could cost somewhere in the region of £7m, and if the deal goes through the Frenchman would provide competition for Paul Dummett.
