Manchester United are on the verge of signing Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred and FC Porto defender Diogo Dalot before the end of the week, according to The Telegraph.
The Red Devils are set to finalise a £52m deal to lure Fred ahead of his participation in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The 20-time English champions are tipped to cough up £52m for the Brazilian midfielder, who will help to replace the void left by Michael Carrick at the Old Trafford.
Manchester United have been linked with a swoop to sign Porto full-back Diogo Dalot to strengthen their options at both left-back and right-back ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
The Portuguese international has a contract release clause of £17.5m which will be active at the end of June but the Old Trafford outfit are wary about waiting so long amid interest from other clubs.
