Arsenal want Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman

Arsenal could reportedly beat Fulham to the signature of Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman, according to Chronicle Live.

The 21-year-old stopper joined The Magpies from Crystal Palace in 2013 and has since gone on to make only one appearance for the club, which came in the FA Cup last season.

The England Under-21 international has spent the majority of his career out on loan, with Hartlepool United, Crawley Town, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen.

The report claims that both Arsenal and Fulham are closely monitoring Woodman, who will see his current deal with the Toon Army expire at the end of next season.

The youngster was a part of the England Under-20 squad that won at the 2017 World Cup.
