Arsenal and Man United are set for a summer battle in signing Eintracht Frankfurt winger Ante Rebic, according to SportBild, as quoted by Metro.
The Croatia international is part of the national squad in World Cup 2018, in which Croatia have reached their first World Cup final.
The 24-year-old midfielder is attracting interest from Arsenal and Manchester United following his impressive performances in Russia.
The Premier League duo are both keen to sign the World Cup star after Croatia were 2-1 winners against England in Wednesday’s semi-final.
The report adds, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in Rebic’s services to provide Arsenal and Manchester United with competition for the player’s signature.
The report goes on to claim, Tottenham Hotspur were the first Premier League club to register their interest in the Eintracht Frankfurt winger but Spurs face competition from four other sides to sign Rebic in the ongoing transfer window.
Rebic notched nine times and provided three assists during his second season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt from Serie A side Fiorentina.
United have already secured the survives of Fred and Diogo Dalot this summer, while Gunners have added five new players to their squad.
