Manchester United are closely monitoring the rise of AS Roma forward Lorenzo Pellegrini, according to Sky Sports, as quoted by The Metro.
The Red Devils are lining up a swoop for the 21-year-old attacker following his impressive start to the season.
The report adds that both Manchester City and Manchester United have already send scouts to watch Pellegrini in action during Roma’s Serie A match against Verona last weekend.
It has been claimed that Giallorossi have activated a buy back option to sign the Italian attacker from Sassuolo in the summer transfer window.
Pellegrini has scored 11 goals in 53 appearances in all competitions during his two-season stay with Sassuolo.
Despite getting an attention from Premier League giants, Pellegrini will certainly be keen to remain at the Stadio Olimpico for a while.
The playmaker has scored twice in six outings including the Champions League and the Serie A so far this season.
