AS Roma keen on Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez?
The Italian giants AS Roma have reportedly launched a £29m bid to try and lure Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez to Stadio Olimpico, according to the Daily Mail.
The Algerian international scored 10 goals in all competitions for the East Midlanders last season, with four goals coming in the Champions League.
However, the 26-year-old midfielder revealed in the month of May that he wanted to make a move away from the King Power Stadium, just 12-months after helping the Foxes to a shock Premier League title.
The report suggests, Giallorossi see the midfielder as a replacement for Mohamed Salah, who joined Liverpool last month. However, the report adds that Leicester want somewhere around £50m for their star player.
Meanwhile – Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool have also checked on Mahrez, who has three years left on his contract that he signed last year.
