Real Madrid are reportedly considering a January swoop for Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero.
The Argentine became City’s all-time leading goalscorer when he netted in their 4-2 win over Napoli in the UEFA Champions League last week.
The 29-year-old also registered against Arsenal in the Premier League action at the weekend to take his total to 179 goals for the Sky Blues.
Despite Aguero’s superb performance, it is understood that the forward is considering his future away from the Etihad Stadium, and according to Le 10 Sport, the European champions Real Madrid believe that they can lure the striker back to Spain.
The report claims that Los Blancos’ goal troubles this term will force them into the January transfer window, and president Florentino Perez is hopeful that he can pull off a stunning deal for the South American.
Aguero racked up 101 goals in 234 appearances for Atletico Madrid before moving to Manchester in the summer of 2011.
