Southampton have reportedly stepped up their interest in Arsenal speedster Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, who joined the Gunners in a £15m deal back in 2011 from St Mary’s Stadium.
Despite his five years at the Emirates, the England international has been struggled to make a regular spot in the starting line-up, the midfielder has managed to racked up an impressive 22 appearances in the Premier League this season but majority have been from the bench.
At this stage, where regular football is very important and having just two years remaining to run on his current deal at North London, its no surprise various English clubs are said to be interested in luring him away from the Emirates.
