Chelsea eye Fenerbahce defender Simon Kjaer?
The Premier League giants Chelsea have reportedly interested in signing Fenerbahce defender Simon Kjaer as the Blues consider to strengthen their backline for the second half of the season.
On Monday, the west Londoners were dealt a massive blow when Leonardo Bonucci extended his new contract with the Italian champions Juventus but it appears that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is considering his options in the January transfer window.
It has been claimed that the Premier League leaders are keeping a close eye on Roma’s Antonio Rudiger but as per the ESPN, the Stamford Bridge outfit have made contact with Fenerbahce over a possible January move for Kjaer.
The 27-year-old has long been on the radar of some of biggest football clubs but he is currently just one and a half year into a five-year deal with the Turkish giants.
It has been suggested that the Danish international is currently well settled at the club, while Fenerbahce are likely to keep hold on the centre-back.
