Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as rumoured suitors for Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen.
Spurs are already well-stocked for players who can play in central position, but there is uncertainty over the future of Toby Alderweireld, who has less than a year on his contract.
The departure of the Belgian centre-back would leave the north Londoners requiring a replacement and according to Tuttomercatoweb, there is interest in Joachim Andersen from Sampdoria.
The 22-year-old has allegedly been scouted by Spurs, and that could lead to an approach being made as soon as possible in January.
The Danish defender racked up 17 appearances in all competitions since the start of last season, but nine of those come during the current campaign.
Andersen has just three years remaining on his contract.
