Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly begun talks with the French outfit Lyon over the potential transfer of Tanguy Ndombele.
Spurs have lodged a bid of £34m for the 21-year-old midfielder, according to L’Equipe.
Lyon, however, are believed to be holding out for a fee of £52m and a number of other clubs have been tipped to join the race for Ndombele’s services.
The report goes on to claim that Chelsea could challenge Tottenham for the Frenchman’s signature if N’Golo Kante moves elsewhere this summer.
Ndombele has made 32 Ligue 1 appearances last season and racked up 10 Europa League outings for the French outfit.
