Arsenal have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious move for Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno next summer.
The 26-year-old will be out of contract at Anfield at the end of the season and is understood to have refused the offer of an extension, having fallen behind the pecking order.
A number of clubs including the Spanish duo Barcelona and Real Madrid are understood to be keeping a close eye on the Spaniard’s situation ahead of a possible free transfer next summer.
The Mirror claims that Gunners also now hold an interest in the full-back, with manager Unai Emery is eager to provide more competition for Nacho Monreal.
Moreno joined the Reds in 2014 and has made 134 appearances for the Merseyside outfit across all competitions.
