    Mordavia is one of the venues for the FIFA World 2018 Cup Russia. The city is ranked as the 62nd largest cities in Russia. Thus the population of 300,000 means they need a smaller stadium.

    This is one of the very few differences between the two stadiums. The FNB stadium is considerably larger with a capacity of 94,000. This is some 50,000 seats more than the Mordovia Arena.

    He says he does not know the design processes that resulted in the striking similarities. Therefore he had no basis to accuse anyone of anything. And in regards to the obvious similarities, he said that he sees them too. The company’s position is that if the Mordovia Arena was inspired by their creation then it is a compliment.
