Manchester United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Fulham left-back Ryan Sessegnon and are willing to loan the teenager back to the Lilywhites to get a deal done in the new year, according to The Sun.
United boss Jose Mourinho is prepared to loan the 17-year-old defender back to Craven Cottage immediately after singing a deal in January transfer window as the Red Devils look to try and beat Tottenham Hotspur to his signature.
The report adds that the 20-time English champions are ready to move “swiftly” to conclude a deal for the Englishman and beat off competition from the league rivals Tottenham.
United are likely to be linked with a number of players in the coming days as the January transfer window edges closer.
