Bayern Munich are reportedly planning to turn their interest towards Chelsea midfielder Willian after being frustrated in their hunt of Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.
The Bundesliga champions have been interested in the Chilean forward throughout the Premier League season, but it is thought that a potential move for the 28-year-old has been dissolved after the player insists his desire to become one of the world’s highest earners.
According to German outlet Abendzeitung, the Bavarians are instead considering their options for the Blues wide-man Willian, who has struggled for regular place in Antonio Conte’s title-winning side this year.
The same report adds that the Brazil international might be tempted away from the west London club should he be offered more playing time.
The 28-year-old, who made 15 Premier League starts last season, has a valid contract signed at Stamford Bridge until 2020, and he could be available in the region of £43 million.
